Joan Vilatobà is one of the major figures of Spanish photographic pictorialism. Though praised by critics and specialists, his work has gone largely unnoticed by the general public. This exhibition looks at a series of thirty pieces representative of his unique career. In the first twenty years of the last century, Vilatobà made his name as a photographer from the point of view both aesthetic and technical. He focussed on three major themes: figures, landscapes and composition, making widespread use of romantic, Symbolist scenes.
